Head Coach - Lindsay Herrin

Coach Herrin has been coaching volleyball at HCHS since 2007. She teaches Health/PE at Habersham 9th Grade Academy where she is also the Athletic Director. Coach Herrin holds an Educational Specialist degree in Exemplary Teaching. She is married to her husband, Caleb and they have a son, Brooks. She loves UGA football, Braves baseball, and Jeep riding with her family. Coach Herrin and her family are members of & worship at Level Grove Baptist Church in Cornelia.

JV Head Coach - JOSH SLATE

Coach Slate has been coaching volleyball at HCHS since 2023. He teaches Health/PE at Habersham 9th Grade Academy. Coach Slate is also an assistant Varsity Baseball coach for the Raiders since 2019. He is married to his wife, Macy. They have a son, Pax, and two dogs, Baylor and Mabel. He enjoys watching the Clemson Tigers, Braves baseball, and playing volleyball. Coach Slate and Macy, are members of & worship at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville.

Assistant Varsity Coach- Savynna Smith

Coach Smith has been coaching in the HCHS volleyball program since 2010. She teaches kindergarten at Level Grove Elementary School and is currently working on her Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education.  She is married to her husband, Shay, and they have two children (Tucker & Chipper). She loves the Atlanta Braves, UGA Football, and cheering on her sons during their baseball games. Coach Smith and her family are members of and worship at Level Grove Baptist Church in Cornelia.
